Burning Man 2008

So, to cap off my whirlwind 2 1/2 weeks I headed to my first Burning Man. Janna I, Janna H, and I drove out Wed hitting the Playa right around sunset. We had a vague idea of where camp was supposed to be, we'd be joining Matt W and the folks responsible for the Harmonic Geometry art piece. I could probably write a book about what happened for the next 5 days, I don't know how it could of worked out much more perfectly (many, Many, MANY thanks to my campmates). So much fun, great people, I was truly amazed. The dust storms really made the whole experience (I don't think you can say you've really experienced Burning Man if you haven't been there for a dust storm :). I never looked at a schedule and I didn't take any pictures, hopefully my campmates will share.

While everyone's experience on the Playa is unique, there are two universals I've come up with which I doubt anyone could deny:

1) It's frakin' dusty!
2) They REALLY now how to burn stuff!

I'll be back, thinking I'm going RV from now on however.
